“Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not” [Isaiah 6:9] [repeated in Matthew 13:14 and Mark 4:12 and Luke 8:10 and Acts 28:26]
Government imposes social distancing;
Jesus taught the laying on of hands.
Government delivers messages that cause fear and hopelessness;
Jesus delivered the true message of love and hope.
Government says that I am at risk;
God’s word states that ‘I am saved.’
‘Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust and respecteth not the proud nor such as turn aside to lies.’ [Psalm 40:4]
Therefore: I have a choice between trusting the instructions of people whom I recognise as proud and misleading, or; I can trust in God and be blessed?
‘Blessed is that man who walketh not in the consul of the ungodly,…’ [Psalm 1:1]
Therefore: I have a choice between following the advice of people recognised for making ungodly decisions, or; I can continuously meditate on and trust in God’s word and be abundantly blessed.
Trust in man and live in fear;
Or, trust God’s word, and be blessed.
‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ.’ [Ephesians 1:3]
Check that: “who HAS BLESSED US with ALL Spiritual Blessing in Heavenly Places,…”
This means that if you are a believer, you are already abundantly blessed!
The choice is yours: you can reject this abundant blessing of God upon you, or; you can be ‘transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.’ [Romans 12:2]
Open your ears and open your eyes, do not be conformed to this world, but be blessed.
Choose to be blessed.
‘Who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?’ [Esther 4:14]
